Extended Hours

We offer one early morning and one late night surgery every week, with both a GP and a nurse. This is to assist patients who may find it difficult to come for an appointment or to receive a phone call at other times.

On a Tuesday, we open at 07:00 for pre-booked appointments and phone calls can be requested before 08:00 on these days. On a Wednesday, we stay open until 20:00 for pre-booked appointments and phone calls can be requested after 18:00 on this day.

During these surgeries, we can only see patients who have a pre-booked appointment. This includes a phone call if previously requested. The out of hours GP service is still available.

Improved Access

Our improved access opening times are as follows:

• 1 in 3 Friday evenings 18:30-20:00
• 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 08:00-12:00
• 1 in 3 Sunday mornings – pre-booked telephone access with a GP

Out of Hours Service

Between 18:30 and 08:00 from Monday to Thursday, from 17:00 on Friday, all day at weekends and on bank holidays, your call will be redirected to the NHS 111 service.

Emergencies

In a genuine emergency you should call 999 and ask for an ambulance. Chest pains, stroke and / or shortness of breath constitute as an emergency.
